New to our media staff this year is Luka Mastronikolas. Luka is a freshman this year and has gone to Lowellville since kindergarten. In seventh grade, he went to Campbell’s CLWCC  Rec Center because he wanted to try out engineering but later came back because he missed his friends. He is very active in school and plays numerous sports including football, basketball, and baseball. Academically, his favorite grade so far has been sixth grade because of his four teachers who worked together and created a fun and positive atmosphere for him and his classmates. Luka’s favorite high school teacher is Mr. Van Kirk. Luka  says, “he’s very relaxed and always makes me laugh.” Luka is one of two freshmen selected to participate in this year’s media class. He is most excited to cover football and basketball and to meet new people.
