Mr. Grow is a new math teacher at Lowellville High School. He teaches 7th grade and 8th grade math and high school geometry. Many students already knew Mr. Grow because he had coached for Lowellville Schools before this year but he was a teacher at a different school. “I worked at Youngstown’s East High School for four years, ” Mr. Grow said.
Mr. Grow is a Lowellville alumni, having graduated in 2015. Mr. Grow is very involved with the school. “I coach track, indoor track, and cross country. I also run the scoreboard for football, basketball, and volleyball games. I announce Friday night football games. I co-run the summer rec for the younger kids.” Mr. Grow has been a coach for Lowellville Schools for the past four years.
He is looking forward to building relations with coworkers and his students. He said, “ I am thrilled to spend the year in Lowellville and make great memories.”
Mr. Grow is hoping to make a great impact for the school and help people. Mr. Grow wanted to be a teacher because he wanted to impact many lives. He said, “Teaching was best for that.”
